Farm Fresh Friday

Time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge from the Greeting Farm. Wow! This one was tough for me. I always choke when presented with a color challenge. The challenge is to use the colors avocado, chocolate, aqua and white. I made a box and designed acetate boxes to fit into the openings. If I said figuring out the acetate boxes was easy, I would be lying. Every once in a while my substandard math skills reach around and bite me in the hiney. This was one of those times. But hey, I conquered it and now I feel victorious:) I made this box using the super cute Sweet Message stamps that were designed by Marina Neira! I colored them in the challenge colors with my Copics. The box is made out of Bazzil cardstock with Cosmo Cricket DP. I added dimentionals, green rhinestones, aqua buttons, and chocolate ribbons to finish my project. I can't wait to see what you make this week. Remember to visit all the Design Team and see how this challenge inspired them!

A PTI button was added for embelishment. Make sure and check out the rest of the DT to see what they created for the challenge!!!

I can't wait to share my projects with you. I love these stamps so much I couldn't stop once I got started!!! I used the Outdoorsy set to make this box and this is the largest box I have ever made!!! I colored the foxes with Copic markers. Cardstock is from Bazzil and the DP is K&Co.. I added felt ribbon, buttons from PTI, and twine to make this box a little more rugged. This box will hold four cupcakes or a gift.

I then used the Sweet Message set to create two cards one for the guys and one for the girls. Both images are colored with Copics. I used PTI cardstock and Basic Grey DP. I made my little girl a redhead and used my favorite colors in the world...pink and green. I just know she would have green eyes:) The best thing about coloring The Greeting Farm images is watching them come to life. It begins with the first stroke of the marker. I fall in love with each one and to me they all have personalities. Maybe I have been leaving the caps off my Copics too long:)

Have a wonderful Hop everyone!!!!

Elizabeth's New Images from The Greeting Farm

The Greeting Farm has three adorable new stamps that were designed by Elizabeth-Library Mouse, Reading Fairy, Victorian Reader. I made two different projects with each for Christmas gifts. I have a family of readers! First I created a magnetic bookmark. I designed this so that the bookmark has a flap and concealed under the flap is a setiment "make a wish" and the magnet to hold the books pages. I also made a notebook using a jr. legal pad cut in half. You can write notes or even the books you have read in the notebooks. The book I am reading now is the Dome by Stephen King. It is a wonderful book and you get alot for your money (over 1000 pages)!
Make sure to stop by all of the Design Team member's blogs and check out their creations!

Sassy Suzi Sprout Day

It's Sassy Suzi Sprout Day!!!!! Do you remember the contest on The Greeting Farm to Design your own Sprout? Kim Yu won with her drawing of Sassy Suzi! What a wonderful image!!!! Kim will be participating with us and even has a Sassy Suzi to give away to a random commenter, courtesy of The Greeting Farm.

Sassy Suzi inspired me also! I made several projects with her. First, I made a card. Suzi is colored with copic markers. I coordinated her outfit with my K&Co. design paper. I used PTI cardstock and lots of glitter glue.

I found some daily planners in the Target dollar section. I used PTI cardstock, K&Co. DP, and glitter glue for Suzi. I measured my planner and built my design around it. I then laminated the cover and attached it to the planner with the super hold red tape. I like how they turned out. I colored Suzi to be a brunette and a blonde. I really love how much each project changes just by coloring the image different. Hope you enjoyed my projects and make sure to visit all of the Design Team and Kim Yu too!

I added a heart charm and a tag that reads "Nuts about you". I hope you like it! You can purchase this Digital stamp and all the others from the collection on December 1st from Pixie Dust Studios. Robyn's Fetish Saturday Challenge

The Robyn's Fetish challenge this week is to make a penny spinner card. There are several good tutorials on this technique. My favorite came from Splitcoast Stampers. I chose the bee from the Robyn's Fetish store and colored him with Copic markers. I used K& Co. paper. My spinner is several Prima flowers and when you tip the card the flowers spin down the channel. Make sure to visit the rest of the Design Team and see what they created for this challenge.

Black Friday Surprise from The Greeting Farm

When I found out The Greeting Farm was releasing ten, yes 10, new digital stamps I was amazed. The images are called Chibis and are they ever cute!!!! I designed with the drink Chibi. I am from the Southwest and to me she looks like she is holding a margerita. Every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas my Father makes margaritas, it's out tradition. I love seeing him ready the blender and drinking a drink out of a cute little glass. He is a beer man usually! So, I made my Chibi using him as inspiration. I colored her with Copics and embellished her with glitter glue. I made a cart and covered it with K&Co. paper. I added a little umbrella and a banner. I am envisioning this as a centerpiece to a drink station for a party or get together.

Make sure to visit all of the Design Team to see all their Chibi creations!

My House Pillow Box

I made a pillow box and added the versitile stamp from the My House Collection from The Greeting Farm. A gift card to a home improvement store would fit nicely in this box allowing the recepient to purchase a few new things for their new home. I colored the image with copics. I used a border punch, brad, felt ribbon, twine and a button to embellish the box. I used K&Co paper. I think that this would be a lovely gift for someone moving into a new home!

Fairies New Digital Stamps

Have you seen the new fairies from The Greeting Farm? They are digital stamps. As soon as I saw that there was a fairy for each season I knew what I had to make...a calendar box. The calendar box is a combination of easel card and box. The box has a drawer which allows the various headers to be stored when not in use. Each of the seasonal fairies has a strip of velcro on the back to allow them to be changed out with the season. I used Basic Grey paper and lots of different embellishments. The most difficult thing about this project was keeping it balenced on such a small scale. I did not want it to look busy but, I also wanted it to be interesting. I am really proud of how this turned out. I made it for my daughter as a gift but, I am having a hard time parting with it!

Janet McDonnell New digital stamps

You have to check out the new digital stamps by Janet McDonnell by The Greeting Farm. They are awesome. I had a blast coloring them. I used A+ Anna and Gothic Roxy to make this CD card I designed for my daughter. I made a joy fold card that fit into the insert of the CD case on the one side. On the other side I created a tag holder so that I could write a message. I colored the images with Copic markers and used the Girlfriend collection from Cosmo Cricket for the DP.

Twinkle Tots Madelynn

Isn't Madelynn just the cutest? These Twinkle Tots stamps from The Greeting Farm are so much fun!!!! Madelynn is colored with Copic markers. I used Basic Grey paper and PTI cardstock. She is embellished with a ribbon, button and leaf charm. I also added a chipboard photo corner.
