My K9s

Since I call my website Creative K9s I figured it was time to introduce you to the
K9 crew who inspire me and keep me company when I create:)

This is Gibson. He is named after the guitar. He is 6 years old and a black labrador. He loves stuffed toys and hates his picture taken.

Maddie is a chocolate lab and the first lab I ever had! After Maddie it's a wonder we got two more:) She is loving and independant and is a wonderful agility dog. She makes me laugh and has a wonderful sense of humor. We call her "agressively affectionate". She is my heart.

Panda is a four year old australian shepherd. She is my soul. She is with me all the time and is one of the most loving dogs I have ever met. She picked me out and my life has never been the same. She is a therapy dog and visits patients in hospice. She has also started her agility career.

You can see three of my four dogs on the table. The table is a piece of agility equipment that is used in the courses. They all know to sit and stay until I tell them "ok". MoDean is a four year old labrador. He is goofy and Marley like. He eats everything including tissues and undies. We have to watch him like a hawk. He loves my daughter most of all. He can be over excited and very loving.

Pixie Dust Studios Masquerade Ball New Release

I love the New Release from Pixie Dust Studios. Such perfect images for Valentines Day and beyond. I could not just choose one image to showcase. I made and designed these little boxes to hold Valentines Treats for my Husband and my Daughter. The Romeo and Juliet box it colored with Copic Markers and embellished with Stickles, pearls, and a white opague pen for highligts. Wink the Jester is colored in Copics using my Daughter's favorite colors. He is embellished with flocking, and Stickles. I used K&Co. design paper and PTI cardstock. I even decorated the sides of the box using a Martha Stewart border punch and ric rac ribbon. Make sure to take a look at the Pixie Dust Studio Blog and take a look at all the wonderful images in the store. Also, make sure to visit the rest of the DT to see what they created. With a little magic and pixie dust anything is possible.

Shirley's 2 Girls Design Team Announcement

I am so excited to announce that I am a part of Shirleys 2 Girls Design Team. I love their stamps. So many wonderful images...I am partial to all the wonderful dog images. Now they are going all digital. Don't get me wrong, I love traditional stamps. But, digital is awesome. I get to size my image just the way I like and it even comes out perfect the first time. Also, no messy ink all over my hands.

Make sure and visit the Shirleys 2 Girls store and check out all the fab digis they have for sale.

I am truly looking forward to being a "lady with attitude" and working with the fantastically talented team that was picked for the DT.

Mercy'sTuesday Challenge

Another great sketch from Mercy! I made this card using Wink a digital stamp from Pixie Dust Studios . This birthday card came together easily using this sketch. I added stitching for interest to make the multiple layers of this card pop. On the top of Wink's hat I added a brad and a sticker to make it look more festive. Wink is colored with Copic markers. I paired Wink with papers from Basic Grey, stickles, cardstock and ribbon from PTI, and a border punch from Martha Stewart. I cut out the ovals using my Spellbinders Long Classic Ovals.

12 Days of Sketches from The Greeting Farm

There are so many wonderful cards made for the 12 Days of Sketches challenges hosted by The Greeting Farm. I have truly enjoyed seeing everyones creations:) I made a box with drawers for the final sketch challenge. I used K&Co. DP, PTI cardstock and ribbon. I colored my Ian with Copic markers. I made this for my husband and although he has never worn a kilt it reminds me of his stories of being a boyscout:) This box is made sturdy by using chipboard for the top and bottom. Make sure to stop by the DT and see what they came up with!!!
