Make sure to check out all of the other DT members for inspiration. I cannot wait to see what you make for the challenge! You would be amazed what a little magic and pixie dust will do!

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday Challenge

It's time for another Twisted Thursday from Shirleys2Girls. All the girls at Shirleys2Girls are animal lovers. Our challenge this week was to make a project using the crown template. The crown template is posted at the Challenge Blog. It is your option to use it or not. The twist this week is to make a card with hot pink. All of us on the Shirleys2Girls DT decided to make crowns for our furry friends. I think Georgia originally started the trend. You go girl:) Here is my crown which is covered with American Crafts design paper. The crown itself is constructed from PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching and lots and lots of rhinestones. I used the birthday gift icon and colored it with my Copic markers. I added ribbon from my stash. I also ran a ribbon from two rivets on the bottom of my crown. This allowed me to tie the crown behind my dog's head. It remained snug and conformed to the shape of my dog's head. I really love how this turned out! It was so much fun to make. Please be sure to check out all the crowns made by the DT and their furry models.

Madison is a chocolate labrador retriever. She loves eating, playing ball, and competing in agility. Did I mention she loves to eat. She has figured out how to open our cabinet and get to the garbage can inside. This April Maddie will turn seven. She is rarely naughty but, can have her strong willed side. She has saved my butt on the agility course more times than I can count. If you are interested in seeing her run agiity look down a few posts and I have a video of her from this weekend! Everywhere I go she walks on my right side to accompany me. I always say she is my heart.

Panda is a bi colored australian shepherd. She is a rescue. She loves me more than anything in the world and will do anything to be with me; even if that means skipping dinner or a snack. She is the most loving dog I have ever met. She picked me out and we have been inseperable for the past two years. She is a wonderful therapy dog and enjoys volunteering at the hospice with me to see patients. She also enjoys agility and playing ball. Most of all she loves to snuggle. If you have watched any of my video tutorials you can hear her snort. She hates to be left out of anything. She always walks on my right side. Panda is my soul.

SimplyScrappingCrafts Card Challenge/Mojo Monday/Digital Tuesday

I made this card for the Simply Scrapping Crafts Card Challenge Corner using the Mojo Monday sketch for inspiration and the theme "a card for mum" from the Digital Tuesday Challenge. The image is from Fred, She Said. FSS just released several new flower images and they are sweet and beautiful. I colored my carnation with Copic Markers and used Basic Grey design paper and PTI cardstock. I used my Spellbinders Classic squares and Classic Square Scallops and paper pierced the scallop die cut. I used a Chai stamp pad from PTI to add a vintage feel to my card. I added definition with light machine stitching and pearls for an accent.

My DOCNA Agility Weekend

I went to a DOCNA Dog Agility Trial this weekend. Maddie had a great weekend placing 1st and qualifying in almost every run. I am very proud of where we are. We are working together wonderfully as a team and I cherish every run with her!

Fred She Said Challenge/Crazy4Challenges

The Fred, She Said challenge is to use three hearts on your card. The pansies in teacup image are so sweet. This image lends itself well to a vintage feel. I colored this image with Copic markers and placed it atop SEI K&Co. Design paper. Cardstock is from PTI and Bazzil. I added buttons and lots of machine stitching for definition. I used Spellbinders classic hearts dies were used to cut out the three hearts out of coordinating cardstock.

Make sure to visit the Fred, She Said Challenge Blog and link your card inspired by this challenge. To purchase this digital image and many others, visit the Fred, She Said Store!

I used the Sketch from The Crazy4Challenges site as inspiration for my card.

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday Challenge

Welcome to the Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The challenge this week is to make a shaker card.

These Birthday Bash images are truly inspirational! I really love the The "Party Animal" and "Scrumptious" image from the new release from Shirleys2Girls. The dogs are so much like my chocolate lab Madison. I colored the image with Copic markers and added Stickles and rhinestones to bling it up! I used American Crafts DP and PTI cardstock and ribbon. I made a shaker for my card with the "Crown Icon" using lots of seed beads. I used my Nestabilities small circles and scallops to make the shaker and shaker frame. Lots of sewing for definition of the card background. On the inside I created a pop up card using the "Party Animal" image. It is so much fun. As the card is opened the image pops up. Both images are cut out and I added dimentionals for depth. This card has alot going on and it is perfect for that special birthday.

Make sure to stop by the store and check out all the new images. But wait, also stop in to all the DT for some celebration inspiration!

Fred She Said/Sweet Sketch Wednesday

I used one of the new digital stamps from Fred, She Said called "Corner Rose". I colored the roses with my Copic Markers and added accents with my opague white pen. I used dimentionals to pop up my roses from the leaves to make the image look more 3-D. I used paper and cardstock from my stash and added pearls to highlight my sentiment. Machine stitching was added for definition. I used the Sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for my inspiration.
