Pixie Dust Studio Sneak Peek!



I made a sneak peek card from the upcoming "On the Prairie" new release. All the new images will be available on May 3rd. I chose the boy and girl holding hands. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used Crate design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I also added buttons and canvas fabric that I distressed. I participated in the Saturday Sweet Stop Challenge. I used their sketch for inspiration. I added buttons and ribbon.

Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is to make a shaped card. I love the new release images, especially this little "Cutie Crab". I colored him with Copic Markers and added flocking to resemble sand. I cut out the little seashell and added dimentionals to make it pop. I added this image on top of a card I made using my Cricut machine and Gypsy. I added K&Co. DP and PTI cardstock. I made a tag with my Spellbinders and hung it from my bucket with twine. I added lots of machine stitching for interest and definition. This machine stitching obsession I have fit in with the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge this week! I also added a little ric rac ribbon! Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge



The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to use a photograph for inspiration. I chose Surpise, It's Love image from the The Princess Parade new release. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used Crate design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I added ribbon, buttons and a die cut. I participated in the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and used their sketch for inspiration for my card. I also joined Stamptacular Sunday and used sewing on my card. Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday





It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is to use the the word "Mom or Mother" on your card, layout or project. I used the adorable Domino Hugs image. I used DP from Crate and cardstock from PTI. I used a border punch from Martha Stewart, ribbon, and I added Prima flowers with PTI buttons. I added an abundance of machine stitching. I colored my image with my Copics. I used The Sweet Stop Sketch for inspiration. I also participated in the Stamptacular Sunday by using sewing on my project. The real challenge for me would to not use sewing on my project! LOL!

Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge


The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week "Tag you're it". You must use a tag on your creation. I chose Princess Pea image from the The Peas new release. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used Cosmo Cricket design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I added ribbon and a little tag I made using my Spellbinders. I participated in the Sweet Sketch Sunday Challenge and used their sketch for inspiration for my card. Make sure to check out all of the other DT members for inspiration. Spring has finally Sprung!

S2G DT is ready to 'spring' one on ya.
With S2G having so many different Digital Stamps
that have the theme of "SPRING"...what better way
to show off the collection than for each of us to
share one of our favorites with you!

Our Twist for this Twisted Challenge this week is...
FLOWERS. That's right...simple & easy...
use any color, any sketch, any image,
& then use a flower image, add a flower, anything
flower!

Make sure you post your card or project to our new
slide show...we want to show your work off!

I used one of the new Paris in Spring images called Voyager from Shirleys2Girls. I love this image. I have always wanted a Vespa! I think they are so adorable. I would prefer lime or hot pink or both! I used Copic markers to color my card. I made my own flower out of felt using the new Tim Holtz Sizzix dies. I added lots of stitching for interest and defintion. My DP is from Crate and cardstock is from PTI.

MelJen's New Release



Can you believe that MelJen's Designs has new release images every week. It is so exciting. You can work with new digi stamps each week. I used this hugging bear image called "I love you this much". I colored it with Copic markers. I used design paper from My Minds Eye and cardstock from PTI. I added lots of machine stitching for texture and buttons. I used the sketch challenge from Card Positioning Systems to inspire my layout.

MelJen's Happy Panda




I first have to say that I am very proud of myself! I often have difficulty using more than one or two challenge for a card but, today I outdid myself. I used the sketch from Tuesday Sketchers, april showers and flowers challenge (in my paper and inside) from Digital Tuesday Challenge, Frame around the picture that is not just paper from Try it Out Tuesday, and making a spiral pop up from Project Tuesday.

The image is one of my favorite from MelJen's Designs. Starting this Thursday and lasting for a week, MelJen's Designs, as a thank you to her customers is taking 25% off the entire store. My image is called Happy Panda. I love it so much since, it reminds me of my own happy Panda:) I colored my Panda with Copic Markers. I used Green at Heart paper from Basic Grey and cardstock from PTI. I added ric rac ribbon and buttons. I added die cuts to my spiral inside the card. I had so much fun making this card.

Pixie Dust Studion New Release "Pass the Peas"












It's time for the new relase from Pixie Dust Studios!. The release is called Pass The Peas.

The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is use green. I chose four of the new release images to create my chipboard book. I colored my images with Copic Markers. I used Cosmo Cricketdesign paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition. I added pearls and rhinestones for sparkle and bling. I used my new Tim Holtz edge die punches to create my photo book. I also used lots of die cuts from my Spellbinders.

I participated in the Belli and ABC challenges with theis project.

Meljen's Designs Challenge



Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is to make a 3D project. I love the new release images Cuddle Dragon and Pixie Dust Fairy. I colored them with Copic Markers and added them to a picture frame. I used some DP out of my stash and added PTI cardstock and ric rak ribbon. For bling I added lots of rhinestones. I made my picture frame in my two favorite colors...pink and green. After I made my project, it was just too cute to give away! I put in a picture of my favorite Labrador...Maddie and I have hung it in my craft room.

Prairie Fairy DT Call




I made a card using the adorable Daisy Fairy digital image from Prairie Fairy. They are having a DT call and I could not resist applying after I saw all of their fabulous images. I colored my fairy with Copic Markers and added accents with an white opague pen. I used DP from the Kioshi collection from Basic Grey and PTI cardstock. I added Stickles and rhinestones for bling. I added felt flowers and a felt vine that I cut out using my Tim Holtz and PTI dies. To add definition to my project I added machine stitching and a sentiment from my stamp stash. I used the Sweet Stop card sketch for inspiration. I also participated in the Belli, ABC and the Tuesday Morning Sketchers challenges with this card.

I participated in the ABC challenge to use sparkle, the Belli challenge to use die cuts, the Tuesday Morning Sketchers Challenge to use soft colors, ribbon and flowers, and the Card Positioning Systems Sketch Challenge. I added rhinestones, felt flowers, buttons and ribbon.
