MelJen's Thursday Challenge


Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is to make an easel card. I used the "Artist Mug" digital image on my card. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I added ribbon and a tag. The dp is from my K&Co. and the cardstock is from PTI.

For some reason I have never been able to get an easel card to stand up. I never seem to make them correctly. However, my card is standing and has been doing so for days! I think I finally conquered my easel card phobia:)

I used the Sweet Sketch challenge for inspiration. I also followed the Digital Tuesday Challenge which was to make a Birthday Card.

Pixie Dust Studio Christmas in July Thursday Challenge




The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to make a gift card holder. I love giving gift cards and this little holder just came together so nicely. I used the nativity image and colored it with Copic Markers. This is one of my very favorite images from Pixie Dust Studio. It is the only Nativity image I have seen that I can color. Kathy always comes up with the most fabulous images! I used The Greeting Farm design paper and PTI cardstock. I added a button and a little velcro to keep the card holder shut. Pixie Dust Studio Nutcracker New Release





I chose Clairethe new image from the Nutcracker release to create my festive card. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I made a bifold box, perfect for holding a little holiday gift or some goodies. I used PTI cardstock and DP from my stash. I added a ribbon and used my Spellbinders for die cuts.

I remember seeing the Nutcracker Ballet with my daughter when she was five or six. The wonder on her face when seeing all the dancing and listening to the music is a memory I will cherish forever.

Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge



I used the MelJen's Designs Apple Fairy Bear digital image to make my card for the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge. I colored it with Copic markers and added a felt flower, button, and ribbon for embellishment. I got some new October Afternoon DP and added it to my favorite PTI cardstock.

MelJen's Thursday Challenge


The MelJens Design Challenge this week is make a tall card. I made mine 4"x 9 1/4 to fit into a business sized envelope. I used the "Pencil Mouse" digital image on my card. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I added buttons and ribbon. The dp is October Afternoon and the cardstock is from PTI.

Pixie Dust Studio Christmas in July


The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to use cranberry, green and ivory in your project. I It was a nice reprieve getting into the Christmas spirit when it is 111 degrees here in I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used The Greeting Farm design paper and PTI cardstock. I added die cut stars, fabbuttons and dimentionals. I made this project for the Digital Tuesday Challenge. I used their sketch for inspiration. Pixie Dust Studio New Release "Jammin Out'"




I chose the Jammin' Girl new release image to create my festive card. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I added ribbon, buttons and die cut hearts to accentuate my Crate DP and PTI cardstock.

I used the Card Positioning Sytems Sketch for inspiration. I also used the Digital Tuesday challenge of creating something inspired by summertime.

Pixie Dust Studio Thursday Challenge


The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is to use red, white and blue in your project. I the June Pixe Image for my tag to top off my mason jar filled with old fashioned cherry candy. I chose the monthly Pixie Image for June image. There is a new Pixie to celebrate each month. I can't wait to color them all! I colored my image with Copic Markers. I used K&Co. design paper and PTI cardstock. I added ribbon, fabric, ric rac and dimentionals. and a I made this project for the Digital Tuesday Challenge of making a project inspired by summertime. I just love playing with the Sweet Stop Challenge each week. They have the most fabulous sketches and this week is no exception. I colored Ian from The Greeting Farm with Copic Markers. I added him on top of K&Co. DP and American Crafts cardstock. I added a button, twine and a die cut wave from my Cricut.

Pixie Dust Studio Twilight Thursday Challenge




The Pixie Dust Studio Twilight Challenge this week is to use at least two images on your card or project. I chose Fire and Ice, Victoria, and Eclipse Bella images. I colored my images with Copic Markers. I used American Crafts design paper and PTI cardstock. I added flourishes, hand set rhinestones, and a punched out phrase that reads "Eclipse". I used the Eclipse movie poster as my inspiration. I altered a composition book for my daughter who is in love with all things Twilight!! Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday






It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is to use something new on your layout or project. I used the adorable "Bride and Groom" image. I tried a new style for my card. I used a very subtle color palette and flowers. I used DP from Crate and cardstock from Couture Cardstock. I added pearls, rhinestones and ribbon. The Prairie Fairy Friday Challenge


The Prairie Fairy Challenge this week is to make a card for Dad. This image is called "Beary Fisher" and it is colored with Copic markers. I used DP from my stash and cardstock from PTI to create my card. I added a felt ribbon and buttons. I made this card for my daughter to give my husband for Father's Day! The image is just perfect for a masculine card.
