Robyn's Fetish Saturday Challenge

This week's challenge is to use stitching on your project. The stitching cannot be machine or faux. I brought out my embroidery thread and my long lost needpoint skills to add hand stitching to my wall hanging. This project is a true labor of love. I colored all of the Halloween Robyn's Fetish digi stamps and used them to inspire each panel of my wallhanging. I could not find any square coasters, so I made them myself. I sanded the edges for a distressed look. I added lots of embellishments and strung all the panels together with ribbon. I had so much fun and couldn't wait to wake up in the morning so I could work on a new panel! All the paper is from a Halloween pack from K&Co. I really used the paper so that it added a design element by incorporating the stamp into the background of the paper.

The Greeting Farm FFF Challenge

Punchdrunk and in love with The Greeting Farm. The challenge for the FFF this week is to make a project using at least two punches and/or two different shapes. I used the new Marina Neira stamp of Maggie Bunny for my card. I colored her up with copics to match some of my favorite K&Co. paper. To keep the vintage look of the image I added buttons to higlight my use of two border punches. Maggie is colored with Copic markers. Cardstock is from Bazzil, buttons and ribbon are from PTI and the twine is from my stash. Enjoy this challenge. Make sure to check out all the DT's creations this week! Sit back, relax and craft!
