**Don’t forget to play along with us this week for our Twisted Thursday Challenge. There is not a sketch but the TWIST is to Tell us your favorite thing about birthdays and post your card to Mr Linky!
We’ll select 2 winners via random.org and you will get your choice of a digital stamp from our website.
I made an easel card with a card box! I used two of the new Shirleys2Girls digital stamps, "It's a Party and the Cake Icon". For inspiration I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday. I colored them with Copic markers and placed them atop American Crafts design paper and cardstock. I used lots of my spellbinders nestabilities for die cuts and to create the acetate window to peek at my easel card through the box. I added some ribbon from my stash and a button from PTI. I added lots of definition by using machine stitching. I hope you have lots of fun at the birthday vanilla bash. Let's Party!

The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is a color challenge. You are only to use the colors red, pink, white and black. I chose several images from the Wildflowers new release. I colored them with Copic Markers. I used K&co. design paper and PTI cardstock and buttons. I added lots of felt hearts, a die cut, and machine stitching for definition. I designed this box to work like a shadowbox. You can see the card image from the outside of the box through the acetate on the lid. The box was designed to fit Ghiradelli squares and Reece's Peanut Butter hearts. I made this box for my parents! Make sure to check out all of the other DT members for inspiration. I cannot wait to see what you make for the challenge! You would be amazed what a little magic and pixie dust will do!

I designed a combination card/candy box for Valentines Day for my husband. I used several Pixie Dust Studio digital images from the new Wildflower collection. To help me with my design I used the sketch from 2Sketches4U and the challenge from Crazy4Challenges (to create a Valentines Day card). I used K&Co. DP, PTI cardstock and buttons, felt hearts, a heart brad, and I added lots of machine stitching for definition and detail. I used the Spellbinders long classic rectangles and long classic scalloped rectangles to cut out the window in my box. I added acetate in the window and framed it using my same spellbinders. I really love the shadowbox effect of this box. I can see the card through the box and the Ghiradelli squares fit just perfectly under the card to give it a lift.
