Pixie Dust Studios New Release Princess Parade

It's time for the new relase from Pixie Dust Studios!. The release is called Princess Parade.

The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge this week is use black, white and one other color. I chose the Cat image from the Princess Parade. I colored it with Copic Markers. I used American Craft design paper and PTI cardstock. I added machine stitching for definition.

I used the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch for inspiration.

Make sure to take a look at the Pixie Dust Studio Blog and take a look at all the wonderful images in the store. Also, make sure to visit the rest of the DT to see what they created. With a little magic and pixie dust anything is possible!

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday Challenge

Yes! It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is "anything goes". I used the adorable Domino image for a funny birthday card for a special someone! The sentiment is just a perfect compliment to my dog image with his jester's hat. It actually reminds me of the crown TT we had last month. I used DP from SEI and cardstock from PTI. The Martha Stewart punch is one I got from Michaels on clearance from Halloween. I never thought I would use it much but, honestly I use it all the time. I added an abundance of machine stitching and some pearls for bling. I colored Domino with my Copics. I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge for inspiration.

Make sure to visit the DT and see what tricks they have in store for you. Happy April Fools Day:)

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge

I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches as inspiration for my card. DP is from K&Co. and cardstock is from PTI. I added three clear acrylic cirlcles and used my new Tim Holtz edging die.

This is my first project since my surgery. Thank you to eveyone for your well wishes. I had a pacemaker put in last week. I had been having problems with passing out, lots of mental confusion, lack of coordination and a very low heart rate. I am still recooperating and have some pain. I have to take lots of naps. Still easily fatigued. But as the song goes...I will survive:)
