Prairie Fairy Friday Challenge

The Prairie Fairy Challenge this week is to use Glitz and Glitter. This image is called "Little Helper" and it is colored with Copic markers. I used Basic Grey Kioshi dp and cardstock from PT to create my card. I added lots of hand set rhinestones, ribbon, and butterflies. The theme and challenge is "What Twilight Means To YOU!"

Twilight means having a topic to chat about with my fourteen year-old. I feel like a teenager again and become giddy over the release of the movies and the books. I haven't felt such excitement since Shawn Cassidy released a new eight track:)

Even though I am team Jacob through and through..I always am drawn to the underdog...no pun intended, I made my card with the fabulous Bella and Edward in love digital stamp from Pixie Dust Studio. I also used the Lion and the Lamb digital stamp. More than anything I was inspired by the love story that is Bella and Edward. I used the plaid as a nod to the Cullen Crest. I added a quote from the book "and so the lion fell in love with the lamb". I also used a ribbon and lots of Spellbinders die cuts. I colored my images with Copics. I used Basic Grey June Bug DP. I used the Sweet Stop sketch for inspiration.

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday

It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is to use pink on your layout or project. I used the adorable "Puppy Love" image. I used DP from Cosmo Cricket and cardstock from Couture Cardstock. I added pearl hearts and ribbon. I used the Tuesday Morning Sketches for inspiration. Make sure you check out all the wonderful projects the DT has made for this challenge.

Meljen's Designs Challenge this week is to use glitz on your card. The new release this week is called "Cat and Mouse". I used the "Cupcake Mouse" digital image on my card. I colored my image with Copic Markers. I added lots of Stickles and some rhinestones for the glitz. I also added machine stitching for definition and interest. I also added some ribbon and a button. The dp is from the Basic Grey and the cardstock is from PTI. I used the Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge as my inspiration. Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge

I love playing at the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge. This week they are having an anniversery blog hop. I used their sketch and brought out my rubber and used TGF's 80's Anaya. I colored Anaya with Copic markers. I used Cosmo Cricket DP and PTI cardstock. Decorative machine stitching was added with flowers, buttons and a ribbon.
