Greeting Farm Insideout Challenge/Friday Sketchers

I made this card using the super cute "Forest Friends" stamps from the Greeting Farm. I colored them with Copic markers I used K&Co. paper, PTI cardstock and ribbon. I added lots of dimentionals and ink.

The Greeting Farm Inside Out Challenge was to make the inside of your card as detailed as you normally make the outside of your card. Wow! It was difficult. I used the Friday Sketchers sketch for the inside of my card to guide me. I used Spellbinders to cut out the cut outs and my Cricut machine for the apple tree.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge

This challenge from Flourishes was a no coloring challenge. I color everything. I have even colored one of my dogs by accident. You know that question "if your house was on fire what five things would you take with you?"? One of my five would be my Copics. It would be #5 but, you can see how much I love them. I paper pieced the Flourishes August release peach image with paper from My Minds Eye. The DP is from K&Co. and the cardstock is from PTI.

Whiff of Joy Challenge

This Whiff of Joy Challenge was a sketch challenge. I have to admit I use very few paper flowers and paper flowers were part of the challenge. They do add something. I may need to incorporate a few more of these into my designs. This Whiff of Joy Stamp is from the Party Animals collection. I love the little goat. I love real goats too! Especially, at the state fair when they have little coats on, I digress... Paper is from K&Co. and the cardstock is Bazzil. Ribon is from PTI.

An Announcement.........

On Monday night I thought the neighbors were going to call the police. I opened my e-mail and saw that I had made The Greeting Farm Fall Designer Team. I screamed uncontrollably and jumped up and down. My husband was so astounded he went to the window to look for the Publisher's Clearing House Van. When I could finally form speech, I told him and my daughter about my news. To say I am excited is an understatement. I have reread the email that Jessica sent over and over. I feel like I have won the stamping lottery!

The other three ladies who were selected, Lynda Nielsen, Mercy Kerin, and Sandra MacLean are incredibly talented, and I am so excited to work with them. Please stop by their blogs and congratulate them!

Here are the couple of cards I submitted for the DT call.

House Mouse Monday Challenge

The House Mouse Monday Challenge was to create a gift card holder. I tried something new on this card. I have been drawing card sketches when I have been waking up early. I used one of these sketches to complete this card. DP is from K&Co. and cardstock from Bazzil. The main image is from House Mouse and it was colored with copics. Paper accents were created with the Martha Stewart icicle punch and highlighted with Stickles. I am making several of these to house (no pun intended:) some of my Christmas gifts.

Mojo Monday Challenge

I made this card for my brother's birthday. I paired two House Mouse images, colored with copic markers, with a setiment from PTI. Paper is from Basic Grey and cardstock is from PTI. Ribbon is a JoAnns find and the buttons are from PTI. I really have a hard time making masculine cards. I think I did it! My brother is a correctional officer and lots of rhinestones and bling would not fly.
