The challenge this week is a Sketch Challenge, using only papers and cardstock from your scraps box. Please use a Robyn's Fetish image.

Robyn's Fetish Challenge blog
to be eligible.
The winner will receive 6 images of their choice from the Store.

For my card I used the reindeer image from Robyn's Fetish. What a great sketch from Donna. I turned it around a little so that I could best show my reindeer image from Robyn's Fetish. I colored him with Copics. I even added a little glossy accent on his nose to look as if it is glowing. I used up a bunch of my scraps on this project and had lots of fun combining paper from different manufacturers!

Stop by Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamp and Sticker store. You are sure to find something wonderful to create with!!!!

The Greeting Farm New Release

I love this new set from The Greeting Farm "My House". The houses are beautiful and lend themselves to so many uses for cards and altered projects. you can use these houses for all seasons. I have been looking for a housewarming stamp set for the past year. TGF read my mind. Imagine my excitement at seeing this stamp set.

I used my house image for a Christmas card. I colored it with Copic markers and added dp from The Greeting Farm's new paper pack. I cut a window in my card and added acetate stamped with the snowflake from "keep cozy". Embellishments of brads, a button from PTI and ribbon were added. I really loved the way this little card turned out.

The other DT members just wowed me with their takes on the "My House" stamp set. Make sure to visit their blogs and take a look!

House Mouse Challenge for the Design Team Final

The second card challenge was to use the same image(s) and create an over the top card. This card is of my own design crossing a gate fold card with a joy fold card. I added little pockets on the inside to hold tags that have a place to journal a special little note to the birthday boy or girl. I created two decorative paperclips for each tag. The recepient can use these long after their special day is over. Each panel contains decorative stiching to highlight the multiple patterns of Basic Grey paper. The images are colored with Copic Markers and highlighted with Prismacolor pencils. I really love the effect of these two mediums combined together. It adds such depth to the image. The main image on the front is popped up using dimentionals.

House Mouse Challenge for the Design Team Final

I love the Mouse! My first stamps were House Mouse Stamps. I still get excited over each new image. These images are fun to color and have such a personality. I was honored to find out I made the finals of the House Mouse Design Team call. Our challenge was to make two different cards using the same image(s). The first card design focused on simplicity.

My inspiration for this card was sienna tinted photos. I simplified my coloring using only brown hues that simulated a sienna photograph. I wanted my little mice to look like they were photographed at a Birthday Party. I simplified my paper color palette only chosing shades of brown and black to make the images pop. I used my nesties to create my old time sienna photos. The border images were created to resemble a negetive strip. Even the inside is adorned with another picture of the party goers!

I came up with this idea when I was riding my bike. I couldn't wait to get home and put my ideas on a card!
