MelJen's Hunny Bunny

I don't know how Melissa at MelJen's Designs comes up with her wonderful new images each week. I am just glad that she does. The "Hunny Bunny" image was perfect for an anniversery card for my parents. They will be married for 43years on Thursday:) I colored my image with Copic markers. I used Crate dp and PTI cardstock. I added a machine stitched ruffle, ribbon and pearls. I made this card using the Sweet Sunday Sketch for inspiration. I also used the Copic Creations Challenge of using a cute animal. I also used the Digital Tuesday Challenge of using one of the hot trends of using material on my card.

Prairie Fairy Friday Challenge

The Prairie Fairy Challenge this week is to make a bag. This image is called "Storytime" and it is colored with Copic markers. I used Cosmo Cricket dp and chipboard to create the tag that graces my handmade quilted mini tote bag. Also, on my tag I added a machine ruffle and canvas. Make sure you check out all the DT members and see their take on this challenge:) I took the Digital Tuesday Challenge of using what is trendy right now. Material is very trendy. In addition I took the Copic Creations Challenge of coloring a cute animal. Also, make sure you stop into to the store and see all the wonderful digital stamps Prairie Fairy has to offer.

Pixie Dust Studio New Release "Oh, Happy Day"

I chose the dragonfly new release image to create a quilted tote bag. I colored my image with Copic Markers on canvas and completed the Thursday Challenge to "Punch it Out" and die cut my dragonfly with a Spellbinders die. I even machine embroidered "Oh, happy day" on the handles of my tote bag.

I used the Digital Tuesday challenge to use what is trendy to make a project. Since material on projects is so hot right now I used the material as my inspiration and printed my PDS digi on material.

Make sure to take a look at the Pixie Dust Studio Blog and take a look at all the wonderful images in the store. With a little magic and pixie dust anything is possible!

Shirleys2Girls Twisted Thursday

It's time for another Twisted Thursday Challenge from Shirleys2Girls. The twist this week is to use blue on your layout or project. I used the adorable "My Main Squeeze" image. I used DP from Memory Makers and cardstock from Couture Cardstock. I added twine, buttons, ribbon, and a little charm. I used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge for inspiration. Make sure you check out all the wonderful projects the DT has made for this challenge.
