The challenge this week is "Ovals". I chose to focus on ovals in my die cut behind my "Kimono Bear" image. I love the way that the oval pops from the square scalloped frame. I used very bold design paper from American Crafts and cardstock from PTI. I used lots of color and pattern but accented my image by cutting it out from the background and popping it up from the oval. To give it a little sparkle I added red rhinestones. I feel like I took quite a few chances on this card. I played around with scale, color and pattern. I am pleased by my result. I know whatever image you use from MelJen's will make you pleased with your project as well.
